Hey dog lovers, it’s your good friend Petal – Instagram @petal_the_rescue.
I’m reporting to you on Bark ‘n Yapp’s 3rd Annual Howloween Pup Parade & Costume Contest. It took place this year on Sunday, October 28 from 12:00 – 2:30. Over 75 dogs and owners braved the snow and rain that Mother Nature sent us this year. I was a co-grand marshals with my new bestie, Coffee – Instagram @coffee_the_pooch.
Apparently Coffee is owned by some big shot news guy in Toronto named Gurdeep. That’s cool.
It was great to see so many participants on this gloomy weather day. Thanks for making this such and outstanding event! Through the participants and sponsors, Bark ‘n Yapp was able to help raise over $200 for the SmartStart Shelter & Rescue Program, that collects funds for 8 charities across Canada.
Concord Adex helped make Howloween 2018 a success
Concord Adex became the lead sponsor of Howloween 2018. It was with their support, and the support of the CityPlace Fort York BIA, that Bark ‘n Yapp was able to bring this event back to CityPlace. I love it there, because it is one of the most dog friendly neighbourhoods in Canada.
Oh my what great costumes
Last year I thought the outfits were pretty good, but holy crap emoji, this year they were outstanding. Just look at some of these great outfits.
No camera shy pups here!
Each of us pups also got an AMAZING loot bag full of really cool stuff from: True Raw Choice, Crumps Natural, All Wags Welcome, Hop Scotch, Northern Biscuit and EarthRated.
There was also an AWESOME raffle with over $1000 in goodies donated by: Crumps Naturals, True Raw Choice, Dog Gone Gourmet, Buddy Belts, Northern Biscuit, BeOneBreed, Fox & Fiddle CityPlace, Hunters Landing, SOCO Kitchen + Bar, Fluffy Pets Spa, Sobeys CityPlace, and Starbucks CityPlace. Those who won, walked away with some pretty sweet merch!
I can hardly wait for next year. Make sure you put it on your puppy calendar!
