Musings of a Puppy

Sometimes I wish that I were a human, but only for the exploring every part of the world aspect of it. It’s difficult being a puppy, mainly because we can’t go very far unless our owners are dedicated owners. Puppies love walking around and spotting every little detail in something, however, it can be a little boring seeing the same things every day; the same parks, the same streets, the same houses, the same little convenience stores. As a human, you’re able to go just about anywhere in the world. Pups may have the smaller size to fit into smaller areas, but humans have the funds and ability to travel just about anywhere at any time. So, what I’m trying to say is that maybe the world should try to give us puppies more rights to things. Let us into your café, I promise we won’t spill anything or attack anyone. We just want to be close to our owner and see a few new things; maybe we can have a little snack.

Being a puppy is a wonderful thing, I mean we can sleep and eat all day without anyone giving us heck for us, or we can go out and run around like free spirits. Most of the time there’s someone that’s dying to pet us, and sometimes there’s someone who’s allergic to our fur, but we still love them. We’re kind, loving creatures that only want to be your best friend. However, at times it can be a little lonely having to stay in the same area for a long time. So, on behalf of the puppy community, I would like to say that please take your puppy out on adventures as often as you can. Not only will you be exercising and taking care of yourself, but you’ll also be helping us live a happy, happy life. Take us to new spots, feed us new types of food, and introduce us to new pups/people. Where are your fave places to walk your pup? What other activities do you love to share with your special pal?
